NRL 2018 kicks off

NRL teams
The 2018 National Rugby League season is the 11th season of professional rugby in Australia, the 16 NRL teams that compete are the same as last year and, in fact, the last 12 years. They are:

- Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles

- South Sydney Rabbitohs
- St. George Illawarra Dragons
- Sydney Roosters
- Wests Tigers
Fifteen of these teams are based in Australia, and one is based in Auckland, New Zealand. The most successful team in Australian rugby league history are the South Sydney Rabbitohs with 21 titles to their name. However, since the formation of the NRL in 1998, the most successful clubs are Melbourne Storm and Brisbane Broncos, both of which have three NRL titles to their name. NRL Finals 2018
The 2018 NRL Finals is now down to the final four teams as two of them are looking to book their place in the epic 2018 Grand Final at Sydney's ANZ Stadium. The first Preliminary NRL final is an all-Sydney matchup as the Sydney Roosters take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs on 22 September. The second NRL Final will see Melbourne Storm take on another Sydney-based team in the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks. If you think these two matches are exciting, just wait for the 2018 Grand Final on 30 September. The Grand Final is one of Australia's most important sporting events and also one of the largest attended sporting events in the world.
