LCD Soundsystem albums
Having formed over 15 years ago, back in 2002, you would have thought that LCD Soundsystem would have produced a whole heap of music. However, remember, it is the quality of the music, not the quantity, that matters. To date, LCD Soundsystem have released four studio albums. LCD Soundsystem (2005) was the band's debut album and received widespread rave reviews. The album also contained the band's breakout single "Daft Punk is Playing at My House". Two years later, in 2007, the band released Sound of Silver which was nominated for a Grammy award and was voted Mixmag magazine's Album of the Year. The album, again, received widespread critical acclaim and was described as "dance-rock for grown-ups". LCD Soundsystem's third album This is Happening (2010) was universally well-received and was named as the second best album of 2010 by Pitchfork. Then, after a long seven years, James Murphy and LCD Soundsystem released American Dream (2017) to the release and joy of countless people. This album became, finally, the band's first number-one album in their home of the USA, as well as Canada and Portugal. Now, as good as LCD Soundsystem's albums are (and they are good), nothing compares to seeing LCD Soundsystem live. Now's your chance, get LCD tickets today!
