Huddersfield Town AFC's Rich History
Huddersfield Town AFC were undoubtedly one of the top teams in the country before the Second World War. In fact, they were the first English team to win three successive league titles (when it was still Division One) way back in the twenties' (1924, 1925 & 1926). This feat has only been repeated by three other teams; Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United. The team's unprecedented success at this time (they also won the FA Cup in 1922) was under the guidance of legendary manager Herbert Chapman, one of the most successful managers in early 20th-century English football. After leaving Huddersfield Town AFC he went on to Arsenal where he transformed them into the most dominant team of the 1930s.
After the Second World War, the Terriers began a gradual decline and were out of England's top flight between 1972 and 2017. With the Premier League claiming the highest viewership all over the world, why should you settle for watching matches on a simple television, when you can watch them live?
